    CONSTRUCTION: The Presbyterian Road bridge over the Erie Canal in the Albion/Gaines area will be closed to traffic for two months while structural steel repairs are made to the bridge, according to the New York state Department of Transportation.

    Orleans County Administrator Chuck Nesbitt has been appointed to serve as the chairman of the Standing Committee on Taxation and Finance for the New York State Association of Counties. The committee will meet Feb. 8 as part of the NYSAC Legislative Conference in Albany.
