Author to visit for book signing, dinner

Medina Journal-Register — ALBION — Bindings Bookstore and Tillman’s Village Inn will host author Chuck D’Imperio for an evening dining event and book signing. 

The event, set for 6 p.m. on Jan. 25, features D’Imperio speaking about his adventures writing the book “Unknown Museums of Upstate New York.” The book includes 50 museums around the upstate area of New York, nine of which are in found locally.

Among those featured the Cobblestone Museum is highlighted on the cover of the book. Also included are the Holland Land Office Museum of Batavia, the Medina Railroad Museum, the Kazoo Factory Museum in Eden, the Jell-O Gallery in LeRoy, the Herschell Carrousel Factory Museum in North Tonawanda, the Elbert Hubbard Roycroft Museum in East Aurora, the Steel Plant Museum of Western New York and the Millard Fillmore House Museum in East Aurora. 

D’Imperio will be signing his guide book for ticket holders who will enjoy a Prime Rib or Haddock Almondine full dinner and a copy of the book. Tickets are available at Bindings Bookstore in Albion, A Lily and A Sparrow in Medina and Johnathan’s Pastry Shoppe in Holley.

Cost is $45 for one person to enjoy the dinner and receive the book. A double ticket costs $65 and covers the cost of the book and two dinners.
