Medina Journal-Register — Tea, lunch slated

St. Michael’s Lutheran Church and Preschool in Wolcottsville will hold its Autumn Tea & Lunch at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 2. Pre-sale tickets are limited to 60, and may be purchase by contacting Norma at 798-3895.

There will also be a Gift Basket Chinese Auction.

Entertainment will be by Lucy Kaz of Middleport with her “Hats & Songs” program.

Holiday Shopping event scheduled

St. Michael’s Lutheran Church and Preschool in Wolcottsville will hold it first ever Ladies’s Holiday Shopping Event Nov. 24, beginning at the church. Vendors will include: Pampered Chef, Tupperware, Avon, Mary Kay, Tastefully Simple, and more.

The $1 entrance fee will support a local charity. Soup and sandwiches will be available for purchase.

‘Peanuts’ themed sale at Hoag

“The Great Pumpkin” sale of Charlie Brown memorabilia will be from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Oct. 26 at Hoag Library. This is a fundraising event to be held in memory of Dorothy Martin with proceeds to benefit the library. It is being sponsored by the Friends of the Library.

Featured at the sale are numerous Charlie Brown, Snoopy, and “Peanuts Gang” character collectibles. They have been donated from a private collection dating from 1950 to the present. Items will be arranged on tables according to their price, starting at $1.

Visitors to the sale will have a chance to win a door prize as well as shopping for fun and unique items.
