POSSESSION: Justin M. Johnson, 21, 163 Bates Road, was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana on Oct. 30. Johnson was issued an appearance ticket for Ridgeway Town Court.
TRESPASS: Hilary E. Falls, 28, no address, was charged with third-degree criminal trespassing on Nov. 2. Falls was arraigned and held on $250 bail and was scheduled to return to Ridgeway Town Court on Nov. 4.
DISORDERLY: Keith M. Lewandowski, 22, 112 Beaver Street, Albion, was charged with disorderly conduct on Nov. 4. Lewandowski was issued an appearance ticket for Ridgeway Town Court on Dec. 2.
CONTEMPT: Darren P. Ayrhart, 45, 112 East Center Street, was charged with second-degree criminal contempt on Nov. 4. Ayrhart was arraigned and released on his own recognizance and is scheduled to return to Ridgeway Town Court at a later date.
DWI: Debra J. Sharrow, 46, Lyndonville Road, was charged with driving while intoxicated, driving with .08 percent of 1 percent or more blood alcohol content and no/inadequate plate lamps. Sharrow was released on her own recognizance and is scheduled to return to Shelby Town Court on Nov. 14.
LARCENY: Jerry D. Walls, 49, Albion, was charged with petit larceny on Nov. 5. The charges came after Walls allegedly shoplifted merchandise worth $129 from the Walmart Supercenter in Albion, and then pawned the same in the Village of Albion. Walls was released on his own recognizance and was issued an appearance ticket for Albion Town Court on Dec. 3.
MENACING: Neil R. Passarell, 74, Holley, was charged with second-degree menacing, second-degree obstructing governmental administration, and resisting arrest on Nov. 9. The charges stemmed from an incident when Passarell allegedly pointed a shotgun at the complainant and threatened to kill him. After Sheriff’s deputies arrived, Passarell refused to obey commands and also physically resisted being taken into custody. He was processed at the Orleans County Jail and released with an appearance ticket for Clarendon Town Court on Dec. 9. The Holley Police Department and state troopers assisted the Sheriff’s Department.
POSSESSION: Anthony M. Mannara, 22, 120 South Swan Street, Batavia, was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance on Nov. 5. The charges resulted after Mannara was found to be in possession of 10 apparent Ecstasy pills while he was at an address on Roosevelt Highway in the Town of Kendall. Mannara is scheduled to appear in Kendall Town Court at 7 p.m. on Nov. 18.
POSSESSION: Richard T. Cooke, 45, 125 Hedley Street, Medina, was charged with fifth-degree criminal possession of stolen property on Nov. 6. Cooke was charged as the result of an investigation into a burglary that occurred in July 2013 where an air compressor was stolen from a barn on Maple Ridge Road in the Town of Shelby. The compressor was recovered on East Shelby Road. Cooke is scheduled to appear in Shelby Town Court at 7 p.m. on Nov. 21.
