Medina Journal-Register — Several Orleans/Niagara BOCES career and technical education teachers, along with aspiring teachers from Buffalo State College, recently spent an evening at the Royalton Hartland Middle School where students and their parents were encouraged to start exploring careers and participate in some hands-on activities related to those fields.

“The new Common Core standards incorporate preparing students for college and career readiness and Orleans/Niagara BOCES is something that students and their parents should think about to help them with achieving these goals,” said Orleans/Niagara BOCES Principal Anedda Trautman, who helped to organize the event. “We are very thankful to Royalton Hartland being so gracious with allowing us this time to talk and interact with their students and getting them to think about the future.”
