Medina Journal-Register — The Orleans County Supreme Court has found that the county's creation of a local development corporation (LDC) were legal and in the scope of the discretionary authority of the county legislature. The LDC was created to handle the sale of The Villages

On Oct. 1, the court found in favor of the county relative to all eight claims in question and dismissed the case. The decision was signed by James P. Punch, Acting Justice of the Supreme Court.
