Stained Glass Tour set for Dec. 14

Medina Journal-Register — Orleans County Historian Bill Lattin is leading a Stained Glass Walking Tour of the churches surrounding Courthouse Square during the 2nd Annual Hometown Holiday event in downtown Albion.

The tour is set for Dec. 14.

Sponsored by the Albion Merchants Association, the tour will begin at the Pullman Memorial Universalist Church (located on the corner of South Main Street and East Park Street) at 10:30 a.m. It will take approximately 90 minutes. It will end at St. Joseph’s Holy Family Parish and will conclude with a bell choir performance.

Other churches on the tour include the Free Methodist, United Methodist, First Presbyterian, Christ Episcopal, and First Baptist. There is no cost for the tour.

The Hometown Holiday event will run from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and includes activities for the entire family, including pictures with Santa, a wine tasting, a Reindeer raffle and, new this year, a Candy Land Christmas Penny Carnival.
