Medina Journal-Register — Village of Medina

LARCENY: John B. Lang Jr., 54, 175 N. Main St., Albion was charged Nov. 20 with petit larceny. Lang is scheduled to appear Dec. 10 in Town of Ridgeway Court.

LARCENY: Joseph L. Tillinghast, 47, 510 West Avenue was charged Nov. 20 with petit larceny. Tillinghast is scheduled to appear Dec. 10 in Town of Ridgeway Court.

DWI: Sean D. Wheatle, 46, 2049 Main St., Waterport was charged Nov. 17 with driving while intoxicated, driving with a blood alcohol content of more than .08 of one percent, uninspected motor vehicle, failure to stop at a stop sign and refusal to take a breath test. Wheatle was released and was scheduled to appear Nov. 26 in Town of Ridgeway Court.

HARASSMENT: Jennifer A. Santiago, 41, 124 William Kidder Road, Lancaster was charged Nov. 16 with second-degree harassment. Santiago is scheduled to appear Dec. 10 in Town of Ridgeway Court.

Town of Albion

CONTEMPT: William Wittman III, 32, 14030 Albion-Eagle Harbor Road, Albion was charged Nov. 26 with second-degree criminal contempt. According to the report, Sheriff’s Deputy Tom Marano along with Deputy Jim Halstead charged Wittman as a result of a Nov. 24 complaint while on Eagle Harbor Road in the Town of Gaines. Wittman had in his possession a long gun that directly violated a previously issued order of protection. Wittman was arraigned in Town of Albion Court where he was remanded to the County Jail on $250 bail.

ASSAULT: Robert J. Sterns, 22, an inmate at the Orleans County Jail, was charged Nov. 21 with second-degree assault. According to the report, Sheriff’s Investigator Ken Strickland charged Sterns as a result of a complaint by a former inmate that Sterns assaulted while he was incarcerated at the jail Nov. 12. Sterns was arraigned in Town of Albion Court where he was remanded back to the County Jail on $1000 bail.

Town of Barre

DWI: Frank C. Pombert, 46, 5242 Oak Orchard Road, Albion was charged Nov. 21 with driving while intoxicated and driving with a blood alcohol content of more than .08 of one percent — 0.16. According to the report, Sheriff’s Sgt. Theo Gunkler charged Pombert as a result of a civilian complaint on Oak Orchard Road in the Town of Barre. Pombert is scheduled to appear Dec. 13 in Town of Barre Court.

TRESPASS: Nicholas R. Austin, 19, Medina; Richard S. Dawson, 23, Medina; and Jeffrey C. Arnett, Medina were all charged Nov. 22 with trespass by the New York State Police.

Town of Murray

DWI: Hayley E. Ross, 27, 3539 Fancher Road, Holley was charged Nov. 23 with driving while intoxicated, driving with a blood alcohol content of more than .08 of one percent — 0.10 —  and consuming alcohol in a vehicle. According to the report, Sheriff’s Deputy Dave Foeller charged Ross after a complaint of a fight on Vindale Drive in the Countyline Trailer Park. Ross was located leaving the scene of the fight. Ross is scheduled to appear Dec. 13 in Town of Murray Court.

Town of Shelby

DRUGS: Allen M. Sutch, 29, 2996 Murdock Road, Medina was charged Nov. 24 with unlawful possession of marijuana. According to the report, Deputy Torry Tooley charged Sutch as a result of a complaint of a fight at the Shelby Fire Department Recreation Hall. Sutch was found to be in possession of a small quantity of marihuana. Sutch is scheduled to appear Dec. 13 in Town of Shelby Court.
