Medina Journal-Register — Johnson Creek Seniors to meet

The next meeting of the Johnson Creek Seniors will be at noon Dec. 4 at the Hartland Fire Hall. Bring a dish to pass and your table service.

Robert Emerson will be sharing the “History of Fort Niagara.” Election of officers will also take place.

The kitchen committee for December will be Dennis and Donna Bailey, Gary and Bev Herriven, Jim and Ellie Strickland, Bob and Anita Shafer, Judy and Dick Cox, Mary and Joe Czaja and Peg and Junior Skomski.

Celebrating December birthdays are Jane Chadwick, Shirley Cushman, Ella Dickinson, Caesar Fortunato, Roger Harrison, Sally Harrison, Gary Herriven, Merrill Lonnen, Florence Moden, Anita Shafer and Mim Walker.

Celebrating December anniversaries are Gary and Bev Herriven and Ellie and Jim Strickland.

There are some openings for the trip to Pigeon Forge in June and the trip to Seneca Allegany in March. A $25 per person non-refundable deposit for the trip to Seneca Allegany is due Dec. 5. Checks for this trip should be made payable to Lynn Marciszewski. For more information on trips, contact Lynn.

Santa to visit Hoag

Santa Claus is visiting Albion’s Hoag Library at 6:30 p.m. Monday. 

The Man in Red will read a story, hand out candy canes, and listen to children’s Christmas wishes. This is a free program. All are invited to attend. All are welcome to bring cameras for pictures with Santa.

Hoag Library and professional photographer ‘Veronica’ will be providing a free photo of each child with Santa. Pictures will be taken at the program to be picked up the following week at the library.
