HARASSMENT: Julio Lopez, 45, Medina, was charged with 2nd-degree harassment on Nov. 20.
UNREGISTERED: Samantha J. Ranalli, 25, Brockport, was charged with a registration display violation, operating an unregistered motor vehicle on a highway, operating a motor vehicle without inspection, and operating a motor vehicle with improper plates on Nov. 18.

FRAUD: Richard L. Hering, 41, 137 Bayberry Lane, Albion, was charged with 3rd-degree welfare fraud and misuse of food stamps over $1,000 and Sheryl L. Hering, 48, 137 Bayberry Lane, Albion, was charged with 1st-degree offering a false instrument on Nov. 21. The pair were charged after an investigation by the Orleans County Department of Social Services Fraud Unit determined they obtained $3,200 in benefits to which they were not entitled. They are scheduled to appear in Albion Town Court at 9 a.m. Dec. 10.
WARRANT: Deputies executed a bench warrant for David J. Martin, 52, 8 Ricky Place, Medina on Nov. 21. The warrant was issued from Albion Town Court for Martin’s failure to do weekends at the Orleans County Jail. Martin was taken into custody without incident at Yates Town Court and was remanded to the Jail on $2,500 bail.
POSSESSION: Samuel R. Remley, 20, 54 Meadowbrook Dr., Albion, and a 16-year-old male from Baker Road in Kent were charged with unlawful possession of marijuana on Nov. 24. The pair were charged after deputies found them in possession of a small amount of marijuana during a traffic stop on Rt. 98 in the Town of Carlton. They are scheduled to appear in Carlton Town Court at 6 p.m. Dec. 16.
