Village of Medina
HARASSMENT: Tyler L. Cornelius, 20, 11308 Main St. was charged Wednesday with two counts of endangering the welfare of a child, disorderly conduct and second-degree harassment. Cornelius was arraigned and held on $1,000 bail. He is scheduled to appear today in Town of Ridgeway Court.
HARASSMENT: Jacalyn Churchfield, 57, 1591 Blood Road, Lyndonville was charged Feb. 4 with second-degree aggravated harassment. Churchfiled is scheduled to appear March 4 in Town of Ridgeway Court.
HARASSMENT: Devon G. Griffin, 18, 814 S. Main St. was charged Feb. 4 with fourth-degree criminal mischief and second-degree harassment. Griffin is scheduled to appear today in Town of Ridgeway Court.
UNLICENSED DOG: Julie A. Wheatcraft, 126 Starr St. was charged Jan. 30 with a violation of the village’s dog at large ordinance, owning/harboring an unlicensed dog and dog at large without collar/tag. Wheatcraft is scheduled to appear Thursday in Town of Shelby Court.
Town of Clarendon
DRUGS: Calvin A. Bennett of the Bronx, and Roderick R. Johnson, Rochester were charged Thursday with first-degree criminal possession of marijuana Thursday. According to the report, the arrests were part of an investigation into the trafficking of marijuana in the greater Rochester area being conducted by the New York State Police Community Narcotics Enforcement Team and the Orleans County Major Felony Crime Task Force. Bennett and Johnson were found in possession of a container that held a few pieces of office furniture and nine cardboard boxes. Each box contained a large, wrapped bale of marijuana that weighed approximately 50 pounds, for a total of 450 pounds of marijuana. Both men were arraigned in the Town of Clarendon Court and remanded to the County Jail in lieu of $200,000 cash bail.
