Medina Journal-Register — ALBION - All of the scoring came in the fourth quarter as Albion bested Tonawanda 16-6 Friday in the non league season finale.
Albion snapped the scoreless deadlock on a 25-yard touchdown pass from quarterback Jon Warne to Trey Hart with six minutes reamining. Narburgh also added the two-point conversion run. A 29 yard pass from Warne to Hart highlighted the drive.
Tonawanda answered right back on a 21 yard touchdown run by Clayton Hess to cut the deficit to 8-6 but the Warriors missed on the two-part conversion attempt.
Albion recovered the ensuing on side kick attempt and the Purple Eagles went on to put a lock on the victory as Narburgh broke loose for a 17 yard touchdown run. He again added the two-point conversion run upping the lead to 16-6. Warne again had a big pass completion to Hart, this one for 25 yards, highlighted the clinching drive.
Warne completed 12 of 20 passes for 181 yards on the night as Hart had a total of seven receptions for 142 yards.
Hart also had a huge night defensively intercepting a total of three passes. Steven Stauss also had an interception for the ball hawking Purple Egles defensive unit.
Albion finishes the season at 2-6 while Tonawanda slips to 1-7.
Section VI Class B
Top seeded and defending champion Alden defeated No. 8 Pioneer 35-13 as Corey Barczykowski ran for 283 yards and four touchdowns and quarterback Brian Stoldt completed 10 of 17 passes for 186 yards and a touchdown.
Second seeded Cheektowaga topped No. 7 Lew-Port 24-6 as quarterback Tim Whalen ran 71 yards for one touchdown and passed 64 yards to Kenny Dillenburg for another.
No. 5 Depew topped No. 4 Burgard 34-20 ignited by a 99 yard interception return for a touchdown by Sean Marshall with 20 seconds to go in the first half. Quarterback Anthony Buono passed for two touchdowns and ran for another.

No. 2 LeRoy 26,
No. 7 Holley 18
LEROY - Cadizsh Norford had touchdown run of 22 and 61 yards for Holley in the first half and then caught a 44 yard scoring pass from Kyle Bell in the fourth quarter but the closest the Hawks could get was 19-18 as LeRoy stopped the two-point conversion attempt.
Dylan Johnson scored four touchdowns to lead LeRoy.
Holley finishes the season at 4-4.
