KofC rolls past White Birch

Medina Journal-Register — Exploding for nine runs in the first inning, Knights of Columbus romped to a 19-2 victory over the White Birch Tigers this past week to improve to 8-1in Medina Men’s Softball League Thursday Division action.

A three-run triple by Zach Beyer and a two-run single by Jeff Berner highlighted the decisive first inning uprising which also included run producing singles by Cole Bronson, Scott Allis, Connor Baker and Joe Rosenbeck.

Beyer also had a two-run double and Allis an RBI double to key a five run third inning uprising which also included singles by Mark Morse, Daryl Froman and Connor Baker.

Allis and Rosenbeck both finished with three hits as Morse, Bronson, Connor Baker, Beyer, Skyler Baker and Berner each added two.

On the mound, Don Baker hurled a four hitter for the Knights.
