Medina U15 squad earns 10th victory

Medina Journal-Register — Notching victory No. 10 on the season, Medina’s girls U15 team tuned up for the Genesee Youth Soccer League playoffs by defeating visiting Perry 6-2 Sunday.

Medina jumped out to a 3-0 first half lead on two goals by Destiny Satkowski and one by Martha Gardner.

Putting a lock on the win, Medina tacked on three more goals in the second had on tallies by Satkowski, Maddy Holland and Cheyenne Fullwell.

Defensively, Medina goalie Jamie Boyce stopped a penalty kick in the first half.

Medina also scored a 5-3 win at Perry this past Friday as Satkowski and Emma Gardner both scored two goals and Holland one.

Medina now takes a 10-2 regular season record into the league tournament this weekend at Batavia.
