Albion, R-H post U19 wins

Medina Journal-Register — Front-running Albion and Roy-Hart both scored early week victories in the U19 Division of the Genesee Youth Soccer League.

Albion 4, Attica 0

Zach Stedman scored two goals and Jon Poole and Jackson Hamilton each netted one to lead Albion past host Attica 4-0 Sunday.

Chris Reed and Sam Remley shared in earning the shutout in goal.

Roy-Hart 4, Pavilion 3

Improving to 6-3, Roy-Hart edged past host Pavilion 4-3 Sunday as Andy Johnson scored two goals and Jarred Hinkson and Kevin Bligh each tallied once.

Albion 3, Medina Stallions 0 (forfeit)

Albion improved to 9-0-1 Monday by gaining a forfeit win over the host Medina Stallions when play was called by officials midway through the second half after a series of ejections involving spectators, coach and players.

Game officials reported a forfeit score of 3-0 to the GYSL web site.

Albion took a 1-0 lead in the first half on a goal by Hamilton.

The Stallions knotted the contest early in the second half on a goal by Chris Horgan before play was stopped.

The loss drops the Stallions to 7-3.
