Medina Journal-Register — LYNDONVILLE - Coming off a history making season, Lyndonville has played three players on the annual Genesee Region League All-Star softball squad.
In leading Lyndonville to its first ever softball sectional title, the Lady Tigers are represented by senior outfielder Alyssa Houseman, senior first baseman Alex Harling and sophomore shortstop Rebekah Hoffee.
Houseman earned first team G-R honors while Harling and Hoffee were both honorable mention selections.
Houseman hit .532 on the season with seven doubles, three trills, four home runs and 40 RBIs.. She also stole 23 bases.
Hoffee hit .471 with eight doubles, one triple and 20 RBIs. She also had 14 stolen bases.
Harling hit .322 with three doubles, one triple, one home run and 20 RBIs. He had 13 stolen bases.
Lyndonville’s 15 win season was highlighted by 6-5 victory over Romulus in the D-1 final which earned the Lady Tigers their first ever sectional title.
