Medina Journal-Register — Medina's duo of senior Lonnie Taylor and junior Dan Brown head the first team of the 29th annual Journal-Register All-Orleans County boys basketball squad.
Albion's Freddie Koester, Kendall's Dan Kelly and Holley's Kyle Bell, all seniors, round out the first team.
Taylor led Medina in both scoring and on the boards this season. He scored 315 points for a 15.8 average and grabbed off 239 rebounds. He also had 40 steals and 33 blocks.
Brown scored 237 points (11.9 average), pulled down 183 rebonds and had 39 steals.
Kelly averaged 12 points, 3.6 rebounds and 2.5 steals.
Kester scored 246 points for a 12.9 average. He also grabbed off 162 rebonds (8.5 ave.)and had 31 assists and 29 steals.
Bell, who is the lone first team repeat selection, averaged 13 points and 5 assists.
Five players have also earned honorable mention including Lyndonville senior Austin Bane, Albion senior Marquis Riddick, Holley senior Will Barniak along with the Kendall duo of senior Jonah Dalcin and sophomore Mookie Nauden.
