Tiger gridders to host Dragons

Medina Journal-Register — Looking to finish the season on a high note, the streaking Lyndonville Tigers will host the Western New York Dragons at 5 p.m. Saturday at the Pembroke Town Park in a Northeastern Football Alliance game.

The Tigers bring a seven game winning streak into the contest, a run which began with a 22-8 victory over the Dragons in the third week of the season.

The streak has also seen the Tgiers avenge their only two losses of the season with victories over the Buffalo Gladiators (12-7) and the Nickel City Kings (20-6) over the last two weeks.

Gary LeFrois and Derrick Adams have both scored five touchdowns to date for the Tigers. Rob Williams has tallied four times, Clay Johnson three and AJ Clevleand and quarterback Matt Mackintosh two each. Mackintosh has also thrown for five touchdowns, four to LeFrois.

Williams, LeFrois and Johnson all took turns scoring touchdowns in the Tigers early season win over the Dragons.

The Tigers bring a 7-2 record into the contest.
