Mustangs tame Tigers

Medina Journal-Register — The Medina Boys Basketball Team raced out to an early lead against Akron Friday and continued adding to it en route to a decisive win in Niagara-Orleans League action.

Munjie Brown paced the Mustang attack with 15 points while Dylan Lewis added eight (two threes) in the 59-35 victory. The game saw 10 players get on the scoresheet for the home team.

Akron was led by Brendan Weierheiser with nine points in the loss.

With the win, Medina improved to 7-3 (4-2 league) while Akron dropped to 3-6 (1-4).

The Mustangs next take the court Tuesday against CSAT.
