Medina Journal-Register — Coming off a strong 4-1 month of December, Medina visits Roy-Hart at 6:30 this evening as Niagara-Orleans League girls basketball competition resumes.

Medina is 1-0 in the league and Roy-Hart is at 0-1.

The Mustangs have been led by senior Alba Perez who is averaging 17 points per game and the Lady Rams have been sparked by senior Olivia Kelkenberg who is averaging 18 per outing.

Tonight’s schedule also has Albion (1-0) at Wilson (1-0), Barker (0-1) at Akron (0-1) and Newfane (1-0) at CSAT (0-1).

N-O boys action also resumes this evening with Roy-Hart (1-0) at Medina (0-1), Wilson (0-1) at Albion (0-1), CSAT (1-0) at Newfane (1-0) and Akron (1-0) at Barker (0-1).

Medina is 3-2 overall as the Mustangs scored a pair of victories over the holiday break to capture the Starpoint Torament title. Lonnie Taylor, who earned tourney MVP honors scord 25 and 32 in the two games to spearhead the attack.

Roy-Hart brings a 4-1 overall record into the game.
