Medina Journal-Register — BARKER - Taking first place in 19 of 22 events Barker swept to a doubleheader victory over Medina Tuesday in a Niagara-Orleans League swim meet.
Barker won the boys meet 92.5-77.5 and the girls competition 91-79.
Brian Alt doubled in the 200 individual medley and 100 backstroke to led the Barker boys squad which lso got wins from Zach Shaft (200 free), John Stansbury (100 butterfly) and Tim Flint (500 free) as the Raiders improve to 5-1.
Steven Hann doubled in the 50 and 100 freestyle events and Chris Horgan took the 100 breaststroke for Medina which slips to 2-4.
Emma Jenks doubled in the 50 and 100 free and Ruth Gendrue in the individual medley and 500 free for the Barker girls squad which regains the .500 mark at 3-3.
The Lady Raiders also had Renee Levy win the 200 fee, Meghan Menz the 100 butterfly, Dillynn Taylor the 100 backstroke and Hayley Richbart the 100 breaststroke.

ALBION - Staying perfect at 6-0 the Roy-Hart boys were led by double winners Roy Phipps (200 free, 100 butterfly) Lyle Wagner (individual medley and backstroke) and Luke Brauer (50 and 100 free) in the 66-27 victory over Albion.
Completing the sweep the Roy-hart girls downed Albion 64-29 to improve to 5-1 as Lindsay Yates doubled in the 200 free and 100 backstroke and Sarah Diumayo in the individual medley and breaststroke.
Akron 97, Newfane 64 (boys)
Newfane 104, Akron 66 (girls)
AKRON - The defending champion Newfane girls stayed undefeated at 6-0 with a 104-66 victory over Akron as Allie DeBiase doubled in the individual medley and breaststroke and Kiki Dy in the 50 free and 100 butterfly.
The Akron boys squad improved to 4-2 with a 97-64 victory over Newfane as John Buyea doubled in the individual medley and 500 freestyle.
