Alexander rolls past Lyndonville

Medina Journal-Register — LYNDONVILLE — Exploding out to a 19 point first quarter lead, Alexander went on to defeat Lyndonville 64-35 Thursday in a Genesee Region League girls game.

Becca Bykowski scored 13 and Sarah Loranty 12 to lead a parade of nine point getters for Alexander which led 23-6 after one quarter and 44-19 at the half.

Alyssa Mahnke scored seven, Sierra VanWycke six and Madison Gardepe five for Lyndonville. Jenna Casticone, Courtny Traxler and Alex Harling each added four, Haley Anderson three and Abigail Feldman two for the Lady Tigers.

Boys Basketball 

Holley 68, Lyndonville 55

HOLLEY - Will Barniak took game high scoring honors with 20 to lead Holley past Lyndonville 68-55 Wednesday in a G-R boys contest.

Sage Hodge and Joe DeFelice both added nine for the Hawks.

Patrick Hinkson scored 14 for Lyndonville as Autin Bane and Brandon Schoolcraft each netted eight.
