John M. Frazier


John M. Frazier, 81, of Medina, NY, entered into rest on Thursday morning, April 11, 2013, at the Martin-Linsin Residence, Albion. Born on June 19, 1931, in the Town of Barre, he was the son of the late Ardee and Dora (Harris) Frazier.
John enlisted in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War. On June 5, 1953, upon returning home, he married the former Jeannine McGuire from Cross Fork, PA. John was employed with the former Lipton's of Albion and lastly, retiring from Albion Central School, retiring in1997. He was a member of the Medina V.F.W. Lincoln Post #1483 and the Butts-Clark American Legion Post # 204. In his spare time, he enjoyed reading and watching TV.
John is survived by his wife of 60 years, Jeannine Frazier; six children, Bonnie (Douglas) Stanton, John, Jr. (Connie), Jeffrey and George Frazier, all of Medina, William Frazier of Maryland, and Christopher Frazier of Albion; five grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. John was predeceased by five siblings, Margaret Gibbs, Vera McMurray, Laura, Wilbert and William Frazier.
There are no calling hours. A private service will be held at the convenience of the family. Memorials may be made in John's name to Hospice of Orleans Co., P.O. Box #489, Albion, NY 14411. Arrangements were made through the Bates & Tuttle Funeral Home, 226 Pearl St., Medina.
