TAYLORSVILLE, NC —
Mrs. Jo Ann Plumley Lusk, 59, of Second Street SW, Taylorsville, NC, passed away Sunday, September 22, 2013.
She was born November 9, 1953 to Beth Elaine Cooper Plumley of Taylorsville and the late Erwin Audie "Stubby" Plumley in Lockport, NY.
Mrs. Lusk had worked at Fisher Price Toys and Park Ridge Hospital, both in NY. She was a lifetime member of Wise Guy Racing Southern Style and a supporter of the American Diabetes Association. She was of the Mormon faith.
Including her father, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robin "Bob" Lusk.
Those left to cherish her memory include her mother; two sons, David Lusk and wife, Lori; Adam Lusk and wife, Christina, all of Taylorsville, NC; two sisters, Elizabeth Petote and husband, Mike of Taylorsville, NC, Linda Workman of Medina, NY; three brothers, Audie Plumley of Long Island, NY, Greg Plumley of Albion, NY, Jon Plumley of Taylorsville, NC; four grandchildren, Braydon Lusk, Savannah Lusk, Connor Lusk, Hunter Lusk.
A memorial service will be held at 6 PM Tuesday, September 24, at Taylorsville Presbyterian Church. The Rev. Paul Sink and Rev. Donald Smith will officiate. Memorials may be given to Lusk Education Fund, 41 June Bug Loop, Taylorsville, NC 28681. Adams Funeral Home and cremation services is serving the Lusk family.
