ROCHESTER — Mrs. Deborah A. Klauda, of Rochester, formerly of Medina, passed away on Friday morning, February 1, 2013, at the Highland Hospital.

She was born in Medina, March 6, 1957, a daughter of Silvia (Diebold) Furness and the late George W. Allen, Jr. A graduate of Medina High School, class of 1974, she earned a bachelor's degree from SUNY at Brockport. She was employed by the Internal Revenue Service, as a manager, for many years.

Survivors include her husband, Allan; four children, Lisa (Stephen) Maier of Farmington,      Jennifer (Andrew) Porter of Geneva, Jessica Lynn Allen of Arlington, VA, and Jamie (Sarah) Gibbs of Rochester; seven grandchildren, Stephen Maier IV and Brian Maier, Josh, Taylor, Amber, Nia and Christopher Porter; a great-grandson, Michael; her mother, Silvia (Everett) Furness of Winter Haven, FL; her sister, Jody Allen; her brother, George "Bill" Allen III, both of Medina; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Friends may call on Monday (5-8) at the Cooper Funeral Home, 215 W. Center St., Medina, where her funeral service will be held at 8PM, following visitation. Dr. Brian Peterson will officiate. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Pluta Cancer Center, 125 Red Creek Dr., Rochester, NY 14623.
