James J. "Jim" Rodden, Jr., 74, of Kent, NY, entered into rest on Tuesday, March 19, 2013, at his family's home, surrounded by loved ones. Born on May 4, 1938 in New York, NY, he was the son of the late James J. and Rose (Larusso) Rodden, Sr.
Jim worked for GM at Rochester Products as a Electrician, for over 30 years. He was a avid card player, always played to win and enjoyed trips to the area casinos.
Jim is survived by his wife, Kimberlee Rodden of Holley; six children, Ann (Mark) Reith of Michigan, Donna Rodden, John (Marlene) Rodden, and Jacqueline (Tom) Montgomery, all of Medina, Jamie Rodden of Penfield and James J. (Tonya) Rodden III of Medina; a brother, John (Barbara) Rodden of Cobleskill, NY; also several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews; and special friends, Chuck, Eloise, Sue and Terri.
Relatives and friends may attend a Memorial Service on Saturday, March 24, 2013, at the Black North Inn, 14352 Ontario St., Kent, NY 14477 at 2:30 PM with the Rev. Stanley A. Thurber officiating. Memorials may be made in Jim's name to Lollypop Farm, 99 Victor Rd., Fairport, NY 14450 or to Hospice of Orleans Co., P.O. Box 489, Albion, NY 14411. Arrangements were made through the Bates & Tuttle Funeral Home, 226 Pearl St. Medina.
