FAIRFAX STATION, VA —
Patricia Patti Caposell, 66, of Fairfax Station, VA, and Medina, NY, passed away suddenly in the early morning hours of November 9, 2012 at ECMC in Buffalo, NY, from an aortic aneurysm.
Her maiden name was Patricia Ethridge and she was a graduate of Medina High School, Class of 1964. Shortly after graduating she moved to Virginia where she held several jobs with the United States government. Her last position was with the Inspector General for the Department of the Interior in Washington, DC.
Patti was also very active in gardening, quilting, decorating and other arts and crafts. Medina and her many friends never left her heart. Patti and Chuck were planning to purchase a home in her beloved Medina. Her family will miss her very much and she will always be in our hearts. God has called her home and we will continue to be at peace knowing she is with Him for eternal life.
Patti is survived by he husband, Charles Chuck Caposell, an electronics engineer with the Naval Air Systems Command; her daughter, Megan Patricia Caposell of Arlington, VA; and her son, Jonathan David Caposell of Seattle, WA. Her mother Esther Ethridge of South Woods passed away in 1994; and she has a step-brother, Thomas Ethridge.
Friends may call on Monday evening, November 12, 2012 (5-7 PM) at the Cooper Funeral Home, 215 West Center Street, Medina, where her funeral service will be held at 7 PM following visitation. The Rev. Daniel J. Fawls, pastor of Holy Trinity Catholic Parish, will officiate. Interment will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
