TOWN OF SHELBY —
Daniel D. Murray, of the Town of Shelby, passed away on Friday evening, August 30, 2013 at the Buffalo General Hospital. Mr. Murray was born in Albion on October 3, 1951, a son of Maxine (Smith) Murray and the late Leslie Murray.
A graduate of Lyndonville High School, Class of 1970, he was a lifelong resident of the area. He was employed by Fisher Price Toys, in the maintenance department, for 27 years until the factory closed and then by Whiting Door Company, for 12 years. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and was a past member of the Shelby Volunteer Fire Company.
Survivors include his wife, Connie S. (Frasier), whom he married in 1972; his daughter, Danielle (Jonathan) Reisdorf of Corfu; his son, Les (Jill) Murray of Hatboro, PA; four grandchildren, Mason and Rose Reisdorf and Carter and Emily Murray; his mother, Maxine Murray of Medina; sister, Debra (Bob) Bowen of Lyndonville; sister-in-law, Sandy (late Edward) Murray of Medina; brothers and sisters-in-law, Andy Frasier, Junita (Doug) Watson, Donald Frasier, Vicky Frasier, Roxanne (late Clayton) Frasier, Bonnie (David) Carpenter and Tim (Angie) Frasier; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call on Wednesday (2-4, 7-9) at the Cooper Funeral Home, 215 W. Center St., Medina, where his funeral service will be held on Thursday at 11 AM. Pastor Russ Peters will officiate and private interment will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. Memorials may be made to a charity of one's choice.
