Marilyn Z. Hall, age 60, died on December 1, 2013 at Sisters Hospital in Buffalo, surrounded by her loving family, after a courageous battle with ALS. She was born on February 9, 1953 in Buffalo, a daughter of Louis and Betty (Daigler) Zaffram and had lived in this area most of her life.
Marilyn had worked as a Physical Therapist for Arnold Gregory in Albion for many years and had also volunteered for Hospice of Orleans. She loved animals and riding horses and was a member of the Black North Horse Club.
In addition to her father, she was predeceased by her husband, Mark in 1995. She is survived by her son, Matthew (Jenny) Hall of New York, NY; brothers, Robert (Helen) Zaffram of Buffalo, Paul (Gretchen) Zaffram of West Seneca; sisters, Nancy (Steve) Hall of West Palm Beach, FL, Carol Zaffram of Amherst; her mother, Betty Zaffram of West Palm Beach, FL; dear friends, Pat Fredendall and Chris Colby; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family will receive friends at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc., 21 W. Ave., Albion on Friday from 5-8 PM. Her Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday at 10:00 AM at Holy Family Parish. Burial will be in Kenyonville Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to ALS Association, Upstate NY Chapter, 890-7th St., Suite 108, Liverpool NY 13088.
