Sharon Ann (nee Ritter) Allen of Lyndonville passed away, suddenly, on December 28, 2012. She was born on August 16, 1950 in Auburn, NY to James and Shirley Ritter (nee Weller).
She is survived by her husband, William Allen of Lyndonville; three children, Barbara (Jim) Anderson of Middleport, William (Suzanne) Allen, Jr. of Middleport, Patricia (Carlos) Allen of Lyndonville; two brothers, Arthur (Joann) Ritter of Lockport and Carl Ritter of Barker. She was the wonderful grandmother to nine grandchildren, Pritchard and Brandon Anderson, Kyle Bush, James and Molly Allen, Christian, Frankie, Isabella and her "pumpkin pie," Aylianna Renee; also a beloved young man whom she adopted into her heart and family, Bryan Warren. She has several nieces and nephews, many of which considered her to be a second mother to them.
There are not enough words to describe how wonderful of a person Sharon was. She was always there for her family and friends. She always put them before her own needs. A friend once said, "If angels walked on earth, then Sharon was one of them." She touched so many lives in so many ways and will be dearly missed by her family, friends and even mere acquaintances.
There will be no prior visitation. There will be a Celebration of Life for Sharon and her recently deceased mother, Shirley, on Saturday, January 5th at Terry's Corners Fire Hall from 1-4 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Lyndonville Fire Department or to Lake Plains Dialysis Center in Medina. Arrangements by Rutland-Corwin Funeral Home Newfane, NY.
