LOCKPORT — Naomi L. Snell, a long time resident of Corry, PA, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Friday, April 2, 2010, Good Friday morning, surrounded by her family in the comfort of her home. She was born on January 13, 1926 in Barre, NY, a daughter of the late Harry and Leona Coon Lonnen. Mrs. Snell was retired from F.W. Woolworth Co. after twenty-five years of service. She also provided child care services for many area families for fourteen years and was an Avon Representative for many years. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Corry, PA. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Walter Lonnen, Harold Lonnen and Merrill Lonnen; by four sisters, Onnalee VerCruysee, Winifred Manchester, Ada Buckland and Ruth Caleb. She is survived by a daughter, Cheryl Davis and her husband, Ray, of Glastonburg, CT; by two sons, Gary Snell and his wife, Terri, of Corry, PA and Paul Snell of Pittsfield, PA; by her sister, Harriett Schweigert and her husband, David of Corry, PA; and a sister-in-law, Grace Lonnen of Lyndenville, NY; also surviving are grandchildren, Michael and Julie Snell, Dejah and Curt Springer, Devyn and Justin Cashdollar, Rodney Post, Tamara Davis, Cassandra Davis, Ryan Snell and Kenneth Snell; by six great-grandchildren, Adrianna, Lauryn and Sarah Snell, Machenzie, Lyndzie and E than Springer; and numerous nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the First United Methodist Church, 650 Worth St., Corry, PA on Monday from 10 AM until the time of a funeral service there at 11 AM with Rev. John Zimmerman, pastor of the church, officiating. Burial will be in West Spring Cemetery in West Spring Creek, PA. Memorials may be made to Corry Regional Hospice, 612 W.
