LARCENY: Taighlyr E. Coover, 22, 6571 W. Sweden Road, Bergen, was charged with 4th-degree grand larceny on Jan. 14. Coover was charged as a result of a complaint from the Medina Savings and Loan Bank in Albion where it was alleged that she stole $2,850 by fraudulently depositing a counterfeit check into her account and then withdrew money off that account. Coover was arraigned in Town of Albion Court where she was released on her own recognizance with a return date of Jan. 28.
ASSAULT: Timothy J. Turner, 32, and Markus D. Wall, 22, both inmates at the Orleans County Jail, were charged with 2nd-degree assault on Jan. 14. The pair were charged as a result of an investigation into an assault where another inmate was injured on Jan. 7. The two were arraigned in Town of Albion Court where they were returned back to the jail and scheduled return to court on Jan. 28.

ENDANGERMENT: Tonia R. James, 28, 804 S. Main St., was charged with endangering the welfare of a child and 4th-degree criminal mischief on Jan. 9. James was issued an appearance ticket and is scheduled to return to Shelby Town Court on Feb. 6.
POSSESSION: Billy J. Satkowski, 32, 4463 Wilkins Road, Albion, was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana on Jan. 10. Satkowski was issued an appearance ticket and was scheduled to return to Shelby Town Court on Jan. 16.
POSSESSION: Joshua A. Fernett, 36, 503 Park Ave., was charged with 7th-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and criminally possessing a hypodermic instrument on Jan. 10. Fernett was held on $1,000 bail and was scheduled to return to Ridgeway Town Court on Jan. 13.
POSSESSION: Jeremy J. Brandenburg, 19, 172 Glenwood Ave., was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana on Jan. 11. Brandenburg was issued an appearance ticket and was scheduled to return to Shelby Town Court on Jan. 16.
