TRACK: Roy-Hart, Barker and Newfane have two wins each

MIDDLEPORT —Albion took top honors in three events as the Niagara-Orleans All-League meet began its two-day run Monday.

Marcus Taylor won the boy’s triple jump with a leap of 41-0 and also teamed up with Morris Taylor, Ben Wadhams and Chad Kirby to win the 1600 relay in 3:41.44.

Hannah Moffett took first for the Purple Eagles in the girls 800 in a time of 2L30.58.

Roy-Hart’s Kelly Heuer won the girls 3000 in 11:32.43.

The Lady Rams also won the 1600 relay in 4:14.39 with the foursome of Liz DeWaters, Rachael Phipps, Teresa White and Christine Badhorn.

Barker’s Emma Dewart was a double winner in the high jump (5-2) and triple jump (34-4 1/2.

Newfane also had a double winner in Adam Irr who captured the 800 (2:04.40) and the pole vault (10-0).

Newfane’s Molly Coakley won the girls pole vault (9-6) and her Lady Panthers teammate, Ally Pierce took the discus (89-7).

Wilson’s don Truesdell won the 3200 (9:51.43).
